The 8788 features an extremely high signal-to-noise ratio (up to 120dB), and world famous audio technologies by Dolby and DTS, integrated in a full-featured C-Media 3D Xear audio driver. Along with the very popular Dolby Digital Live, the 8788 also boasts Dolby Headphone, Dolby Virtual Speaker, and Dolby Pro Logic IIx. The 8788 also features DTS newest PC audio solution: DTS Connect, which includes DTS Interactive and DTS Neo:PC.
