L610 is not only a notebook but also a digital music player and multimedia center as well. It is designed to play your favorite CD and MP3 without the need to enter your Windows® system. A distinctive, friendly screen just below the TFT LCD allows you to view the CD track number or MP3 playlist.
The L610 is also equipped with a 4-in-1 card reader (supports MS, MMC, SM and SD card), 4 sets of USB 2.0, 1 set of IEEE 1394 and PCMCIA. You can easily link your digital equipment such as DV, Digital Camera and Thumb Drive to your L610.
The magnesium alloy and chassis structure of your L610 guarantee top protection and durability compared to other similar devices. With its lightweight design, the L610 is more compact and portable.
The ACS (Advanced Cooling System) is a unique technology provided exclusively by MSI. Computers are very sensitive to heat; therefore MSI launched its own heat dissipation technology - the Advanced Cooling System (ACS). Powered by MSI SBT (Smart Battery Technology) with enhanced battery life, the L610 delivers up to 3 hours of continuous usage. The MSI SBT can provide extended service life and exceptional performance, allowing you to enjoy your DVD movies while on the road or at home.
The batterys life span has been tested with Mobile Mark 2002 software; however, the actual battery run time may still depend on the OS and software.
MSI Live-update can automatically detect and flash the firmware under Windows environment. You can set the schedule of the firmware and update the driver with the on-schedule connection to MSIs dedicated server, thereby helping you keep your system in its most optimum status.
Independent ATI MOBILITY RADEON 9700 with 128MB VRAM and 15.4-inch super-wide screen provides you excellent environment for document or video editing and also the smoothest graphics for 3D games.
